Australia's only Commonwealth-managed botanic gardens — free entry inside Booderee NP

Booderee Botanic Gardens is one of Australia's most unique horticultural attractions — the only botanic gardens managed by the Australian Commonwealth Government, and jointly operated with the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community. Set within Booderee National Park, the gardens cover around 60 hectares and specialise in native Australian plants from the Jervis Bay and South Coast region. Walking trails wind through the gardens, which also serve as an important conservation site for endangered local plant species. Entry to the gardens is included with the Booderee National Park day pass. The gardens are particularly beautiful in spring when the wildflowers bloom.
