Kangaroos and Wallabies at Greenpatch
The Greenpatch area of Booderee National Park is the best place in the region to see kangaroos up close. Eastern Grey Kangaroos emerge from the spotted gum forest at dusk and graze through the campground and picnic areas in numbers, often with joeys visible in pouches. They're very accustomed to people — close approaches for photography are possible while maintaining respectful distance. This is one of the most reliably magical wildlife experiences at Jervis Bay.
Dolphins From Shore
Huskisson is one of the best places in Australia to see wild dolphins from shore.
