Parking at Hyams Beach

Parking at Hyams Beach is the biggest logistical challenge of any Jervis Bay visit. The small car park at Hyams Beach village fills by 9–10am on summer weekends, and once full, rangers will turn vehicles away. Overflow parking on nearby streets fills soon after. The solution is simple: arrive before 8:30am during busy periods. On weekdays and in shoulder seasons, parking is generally not a problem. If you arrive and can't park, consider visiting Vincentia Beach or Huskisson Beach for a few hours before attempting Hyams Beach again in the mid-afternoon when some visitors leave.

Driving Between Attractions

The main Jervis Bay attractions are spread across a 30km area from Callala Bay in the north to Booderee National Park in the south. All roads are sealed and in good condition.
