Queen Street is a short but densely packed main street with excellent independent businesses. Start with coffee at one of the many cafes, then explore at your own pace. The Berry Sourdough Bakery is a must — the pastries and bread are outstanding. Several good bookshops, antique stores, and homewares boutiques fill the heritage buildings. Plan to spend at least 2–3 hours just wandering the street.
